Translator
A translator is an individual that translates languages from one language into another language. In many cases an itranslator is regarded as an interpreter that is used in order to translate languages for an individual. As globalisation has set in there has been an increased need for translation services. In many cases translators will be employed by translation companies but it is also possible to work on a self employed basis. The job role of a translator will vary but it will generally mean that a person will translation services. In many cases a translator will be capable of speaking a range of different languages.
The translator services will be used for a variety of different reasons; in many cases they be employed by organisations in order to carry out some translation work. This may include carrying out product translations or producing written translations of documents. Some people will be employed to carry out translation services based on a interactive basis. This will mean that the translator will be providing a translation service in real time; a translator may be present in person or they may be contacted by telephone. There are many different levels of translators available and different ones will provide different levels of competence.
The cost of a translator will vary, different translators price their services differently. Some will charge by the hour and some will operate on variable rates; there is often a set price for document translation services. Certain language translators will be at a premium rate and this will usually be due to there being a shortage of this particular type of translator.
Many public organisations will often use the services of translators, especially as they have a lot of interaction with people from many different countries. There will often be used on a phone line basis and the public organisation will carry out an interpreting service. A translator will most commonly be used on order to provide translator services for product descriptions and other document types.
